The nature of the Candida fungus is a mystery to the majority of men. This infection is not gender specific but instead aims to infect certain body areas, especially those areas that are moist and exposed. Although commonly found in the vaginal tract of women, it is equally at home in the mouth, on your skin and, an area that is particularly distressing to men - the penis.
The physical signs of penile yeast infection include burning sensations, itching and, soreness in the penile area - amongst others. The Candida fungus' trademark trademark is however a white discharge, which may also appear as a yeast infection sympton in man. As with women this discharge also has no odour in men. This is of little comfort to the sufferer who must contend with this and other previously mentioned symptoms, often at the same time.
If you are a sufferer of this little understood and discomforting infection you are not alone. In my next post i'll be going over the frustrations of this infection.
In the meantime click here to find out how to beat yeast infection in man for good.
